From 23-27 June, Airbus UK attended the European Space Agency’s Living Planet Symposium 2025 in Vienna, Austria. The event, hosted every three years in advance of the ESA’s Council of Ministers (CMIN) meeting, is the world’s largest conference dedicated to Earth Observation, and this year attracted a record-breaking 7,500 delegates from over 119 countries.

During the week, the SUP1 RAVE technical team (Drs. Thomas Higginbottom, Frazer Christie and Dominik Rains) chaired a highly successful, standing room-only conference session focused on better linking Public and Commercial Earth Observation data for effective Earth Action, and presented a range of Airbus UK's recent and ongoing geospatial projects. This included a well-received oral presentation on the objectives and early results of the SUP1 RAVE project, delivered by Dr. Thomas Higginbottom.
The SUP1 RAVE presentation will soon be publicly available via the Living Planet Symposium 2025 conference website here.
